Air-handling units
Replacement and refurbishment of AHUs, including modular units built in place where plant-room access is restricted.
Cooling coils and VAV boxes
Fouled or failed coils and VAV terminals replaced with correctly selected equipment and re-commissioned.
VFDs and motor control
Variable-frequency drives on fans and pumps so equipment follows the load instead of running at fixed speed.
Chilled-water pumps
Pump sets and drives supplied and installed, sized to the network’s actual hydraulic profile, including conversion from constant to variable flow.
Heat pumps and calorifiers
Calorifier replacement with water-source heat pumps for domestic hot water, plus heat-pump relocation and recommissioning.
Packaged units and air curtains
Supply and installation of packaged air-conditioning plant and air curtains in operational hotels and commercial buildings.

OCCUPIED BUILDINGS
Upgrade the plant.
Minimal disruption.
Hotels, offices and residential towers cannot simply switch off. We plan every retrofit around the people using the building.
Phased floor by floor
Work is split into zones so the rest of the building keeps its cooling while each section is done.
Pipe freezing
Where a section has to be isolated without draining the system, pipes can be frozen locally to form a temporary plug.
Hot tapping
New connections can be made on live pipework, avoiding a shutdown where the application allows it.
Agreed shutdown windows
When a short shutdown cannot be avoided, it is planned and agreed with facilities management in advance.
Out-of-hours work
Noisy or critical activities can be scheduled at night or at weekends to suit the building.

Common questions.
Can you work in an occupied building?
Yes, with minimal disruption. Work is phased floor by floor or zone by zone. Where a section has to be isolated we use techniques such as pipe freezing and hot tapping, and any short shutdown that cannot be avoided is agreed with facilities management in advance.
Which brands do you install?
We are not tied to a single manufacturer. Equipment is selected for the application and the client’s specification, and handed over commissioned and documented.
Do we need to replace the whole system?
Not always. Refurbishing or replacing the components that dominate consumption, such as coils, fans and drives, can restore performance and extend equipment life.
